10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it.11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.

14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

20 To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

    I am recommiting to give away at least 3 things every day. I have many things in excellent condition that I don’t need. I am drowning in clutter. I’m content with what I have. I’m retired, but I have what I need and more stuff than necessary.

    I’ll have to really think about what I’m going to give away. After my husband died, I gave away many things. I’m pretty much down to just what I use, but what I try to give away each day is Jesus. I pray that I will have eyes to see, and a mouth to share JESUS.

      Oh wow! I love your comment. We can give away Jesus every day and tell others about His live. That is beautiful!

    Hi Jen & Linda
    I first want to say that Jen you are a very powerful prayer person. Linda you are amazing with your words. My one thing I am giving away this week well I have been doing it since Monday is that there is this one lady who I have been talking to her about God telling her all about Him. She is enjoying hearing about our God her name is Jessica she is 70 years old she is always on the bus sweet lady but she is sick been sick for long time if you could pray for her. God is so amazing and He knows what he is doing when it comes to speaking to someone about Him. Great question? Thank you Jen & Linda for always being true and always doing God’s job. Love you both.

      That is awesome that you are sharing Jesus with others. That is the best thing you could do. We will be praying for Jessica that the Holy Spirit will speak truth to her heart and that she will feel God’s love and want a personal relationship with Him.

        Thank you for your words to me. I mss you all. Yes as I go out I share Jesus were ever I go when ever I can. Thank you for your prayers for Jessica she needs it I just talked to her yesterday and she was very sick with a bad cold and other things wrong with her. Anway you both have a great weekned.     I will be blessing my younger brothers with birthday money. I have always been the tightwad of my money. I would hold on to it. We work hard to earn or money, and we want to save that money because it’s ours. I started to give to three organizations one in Washington DC, a missionary family who are in Central America, and to my church. It is a real joy to give, and like the Bible says that it is more blessed to give. Jen, you giving all of your money to the missionary was truly amazing. You never bragged about it , but you gave out of a cheerful heart. God loves a cheerful giver.

    I didn’t listen to this post until today (May 12) but was convicted yesterday. My sister’s vehicle needs some repair and her roommate up and left her to hand the entire rent and lease. I had decided that I would give her $200 to help, but when I went to write a check to her, the Lord told me to make it for $300. I was certainly blessed.

    Thank you for this ! My daughter was born a giver , gathering pennies and her “jewels” as a toddler to share with her pre- school teacher , and I loved her heart . I began to worry though ( instead of trusting God!), as she always gave up her place in line , or gave away her Easyer eggs, etc… That she wouldn’t have enough for her self . How I regret that now – but I praise God that He still have her His nature and that she is still a giver , despite my mistakes 🙂 I love being reminded that if we just obey , His plans and His ways are always better , and He will provide ! One way I have been trying to give , is to faithfully pray for others . We see so many prayer requests , and I am striving to be faithful to actually lift others up . I have also been praying about how to help the many homeless people we see at so many stop lights . I don’t always have cash , but I want to encourage them , and am praying God will help me find a way .

    Hi, I give of my time for being a children’s leader at BSF, I am a partner for special olympics, and I also do lunch groups at school. I work in 2 schools. I am helping another coworker with some evaluations. My schedule is tight, but I have been seeing God provide pockets of time to for me to work on these evaluations. Did you get the pictures that I sent?

    Hello Jen and Linda 🙂

    This week I give one book written By Joni Eareckson Tada and a white Angel to my cousin. She has much sorrow and trouble. My husband Markku is giving prayers and good words which my cousin now needs the most. It´s a good idea to give something away every week!. I have many beautiful things around and don´t need them all. I´ll make a plan about how and what to give away and to whom. Your programs are very good. I have started the 30 day prayer challenge and it feels good and blessed. Thank you very much for your prayers!!!
